Diana Rambles: Planetbox Shuttle Review

Planetbox Shuttle Review

Thursday, June 27, 2013

When we arrived home from vacation there was a package waiting for me from PlanetBox. They asked me to review their latest lunchbox, the PlanetBox Shuttle.
This adorable lunch box measures 7.75 x 5.2 x 2 inches and comes with a custom fit carry bag. I love the matching design between the bag & the magnets on the box.
I love the size of this lunch box! It's perfect! Not too big, but not too small either. My daughter's first lunch with this consisted of a grilled turkey & cheese sandwich (no crust), shredded carrot, cashews, dried cranberries, and some berry apple sauce.
The next lunch I made was peanut butter flower mini sandwiches, carrot sticks, a pickle, blueberries, and some chopped pears in the PlanetBox Tall Dipper.
If you have a bigger eater, you can fill the compartments much more like I did below for my hubby's lunch. He rides his bike to work and just slung the handle of the carry bag on this handle bars and the food was still in place when he opened it for lunch.
I am thinking that the design of this with a bicycle (on the lunch bag) should become my hubby's and I should get the purple ladybug design for my daughter.
All PlanetBox lunchboxes are dishwasher safe stainless steel. I really like the size of this lunchbox and know that it will become one of our favorites.
