Abraham Lincoln Bento

In honor of Abraham Lincoln's birthday, I created a bento lunch for my daughter today. We recently went to the Lincoln Museum and have been reading up on him at home, so she is really into Lincoln right now.
2/12: Happy Birthday Abe Lincoln- Open face sandwich with pumpkin butter (hard to see but it's supposed to be a penny...copper colored with Lincoln's profile etched in), peas, strawberries, pipe hat out of Nori, and LINCOLN out of cheese, & Rainbow Sour Punch.

    1. I made these for my daughter nearly everyday during Kindergarten. She said she got too much attention from her classmates and asked me to stop making them this year. She does enjoy the occasional one now, although she is getting into making her own lunch now.

  2. You should have put in a shiny nose somewhere! (Why does everyone rub his nose at all the monuments in Springfield???)

    1. It is supposed to be lucky? I was shocked to see the places in the museum where people had rubbed! So rude!

  3. How fun. I always forget that it's Lincoln's birthday today because it's also my youngest son's birthday. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I've had fun checking out your blog.
