It's the end of February so it's time for the next installment of A Little About Diana.
This month I am going to answer questions that people put in comments on my January post. Yikes....I just counted and there are 7!! Feel free to ask more...it gives me something to write about.
Lorraine asked~
How did you and your husband meet? At the time I was working for MWR (provided rec/support for military families) and volunteering at an outside concert at the 32nd St. Naval Station in San Diego. I was on the look out for cute guys and saw him. I sent someone over to let him know I wanted to meet him. We were an instant item and within 2 weeks people said we were going to get married. So yes, I picked him up!

Beth asked~
What is one of your guilty pleasures? Watching (contrived) reality shows and making fun of the stupid contestants! Right now it's The Bachelor! Oh, and carbohydrates!!

~ I will share something about me- I too have lived in Hawaii and my 2nd
daughter was born at Tripler Army Hospital in Honolulu! Have you ever
gone back to the Islands? Our first son was born at Tripler! We lived in housing between Tripler & the airport. We went back in 2002 for his 9th birthday. We saw some old friends and really enjoyed our time! Haven't been back since!

Linda said~ I would like to you to share what you enjoy most about blogging and also what types of blogs grab your attention? I have to be honest here and say that the first thing I notice about a blog is the design. I've been designing blogs for 5 years now and it's just habit. A great design really sticks out to me. I also look at how they are laid out and if they are disorganized or cluttered. I do look beyond the design and at the content. I love seeing people's creations. While Diana Rambles is not really a specific account of my life, I like using blogs to document life. Here is our
Alaska Trip blog from 2010.
Amy said~ Tell us your most embarrassing moment. Oh gosh! My hubby & I were at a friends wedding and the top of my outfit totally popped open when we were on the dance floor.

Bethany said~ Tell us about living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. How did your kids like it? How old is your eldest child? We lived there for 4 months in 2001. My boys were 7 & 2 at the time. It was actually tough on the oldest one because he was pulled away from his friends. We had moved to Texas 2 years before that, so it was his 2nd school change in a few years. The boys got a TON of attention everywhere we went. People wanted to touch them and thought the older one was in movies in the USA.

J asked~ Since you asked, I'd love to know how you got be such an outgoing,
friendly person. Did you do crazy, fun things with your siblings when
you were young? What was a typical summer day like when you were a
child? I grew up in a big dysfunctional family. Joking around was how we functioned. We lived in Phoenix, so we'd go out exploring on bikes or go swimming all the time.

Oh that was lovely learning more about you. Even if I'm secretly wondering what you think of my blog design when you visit :P
ReplyDeleteOh and if I ever get married again, I'm totally inviting you for entertainment ;)
My flasher days are over!
DeleteI love all the pictures and getting to know you better! :) This is fun! I need to think of more questions ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks! The questions really give me ramble material!
DeleteThat was fun! Ok, I've got to give you more to write about. Hehe! What is something on your bucket list that you have been dreaming of doing forever. And... go! ;)
ReplyDeleteI've never had a 'bucket list' per se, but I'll think about something I want to do and write it up next month!!
DeleteLove getting to know you better, Diana! Enjoyed leafing through your photo book :-)
ReplyDeleteI could bore you for days with photos!!
DeleteHaha Love it Diana!
ReplyDeleteThanks Beth!
DeleteLove the photos and how you picked your cute hubby! You both look so cute. Enjoyed your getting to know you post :)
ReplyDeleteHe is pretty darned cute!!
DeleteI enjoyed reading this post about your life. Thanks for posting. Have a great day :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Judy!!
DeleteThis was a great idea and I loved reading your answers. In the past you have mentioned things you like/don't like about blogs you visit. The top "don't like" for me is not seeing a picture -even a teeny tiny one- of the blogger. This doesn't stop me from reading, but I always feel kind of cheated. My favorite writers begin to feel like friends to me and it's nice to know things about them - especially what they look like! You've really gone the extra mile here with your fun post and I'm so happy to be a follower -and friend!- of yours!
ReplyDeleteYes, I do seem to be vocal about what I don't like, such as word verification or no-reply blogger. A picture really does make it personal!! Thank you for being my friend!!
Deletelove this post! Happy weekend wishes to you and Thank you for sharing at the Thursday Favorite Things blog hop, your participation is what makes it so much fun. Come back to Katherines Corner,I posted the new giveaway today! xo
ReplyDeleteThanks Katherine!
DeleteAhhh See I still love you learning more ... :).
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the award hun!
I've got many many skeletons...
DeleteSo interesting! Love to see the photos! Especially your hair! It was the height of 80s fashion! How did we do it back then?! Ha!
ReplyDeleteBig hair was FUN!
DeleteHilarious opening photo! I always have great respect for other bloggers who are willing to make a fool of themselves. Great to learn more about you...what a wonderful idea for a series.
ReplyDeleteAre you calling me a fool? Cause I am! Hahaha! I love to poke fun...at myself & others!!
