2012 Diana Rambles Recap

The Blog
Diana Rambles has undergone many changes in 2012. I started the year with this wintery design~
My posts mostly centered around the bentos I was making for my daughter each day and giveaways for custom 18" doll clothes. I also started a new weekly thematic linky party. In the spring I updated my blog with this look~
I slowed down my blogging over the summer because school was out and I didn't need as many bentos and my blog party ended, but I did blog about my first attempt at gardening. I decided to put more time into blogging in September and started with a new look~
I was really getting into blogging and decided really work on increasing readership. On my 4th Blogoversary I launched my new weekly linky party called Pin Me. Participation in this meme really picked up after I redesigned this blog in November. This total overhaul and reorganization you see here now was largely influenced by my reading of 10 Ways to Grow Your Blog and 10 Way to Make Money Blogging by Six Sisters' Stuff. Those inexpensive ebooks really have some great suggestions!

This is my 215th post this year. Here are the 6 posts with the most views this past year.
Ultimate Elf on the Shelf Link Party
The first was written a year ago, but the last 5 were all posted in the last month and a half. Since October, my posts have been featured on other blogs 58 times. Just goes to show you how quickly Diana Rambles is growing! As of today I have 881 followers via GFC, 1000 email subscribers, 617 Twitter followers, 161 Facebook followers (page created this fall), and 554 followers on Pinterest. This is the first year I wrote a recap. I wish I had last year so I could compare. I guess we will see what 2013 brings!
