My hubby & son left for Washington DC (school trip) a few hours after we got back from St. Lou. They took my phone with them so that they could take photos and keep in touch. They visited Gettysburg this morning, the White House this afternoon, and are visiting the war memorials now. I went to DC when I was in 7th grade. I hope it's a good experience for them.
It's super warm (around 80) so my daughter is spending a lot of time outside with the neighbor kids. The oldest is on Spring Break too, so he's in and out and spending a lot of time with friends from high school. I really need to hit the store as our fridge is quite empty. My daughter just wanted to eat with her friends today, so no bento. Not sure if I will make any this week. I don't even know what I am making for dinner! Sounds like I am being lazy and doing nothing, but I am doing some organizing.

Sounds like a good week! And you know, sometimes we don't have to photograph everything. Some things are just best left for your heart to remember.
ReplyDeleteWe went to DC a few years ago and LOVED it! I think every American should go there at least once in their lifetime. It's incredible. I hope they have a great time.
