Green Bento 1

1/20: Green 1: This is my first submission into the green challenge at Bento Blog Network. Cheese Tortellini boiled in green water, peas, blueberries covered up with green Fruit Roll Ups.

  1. It's cool that the green water turned the tortellini green! The monochromatic meal is kind of cool! We always have a "green feast" for St. Patrick's Day and it's so much fun to come up with as many green foods as we can!

  2. Green water works, but also spinach tortellini (and then you also get veggies in the mix). I love veggie pastas.

  3. That's a great idea, to use green water. I didn't know that was possible!

  4. Ha - I've never thought of dyeing my pasta water! Definitely worth keeping in mind for when I don't have any coloured pasta on hand (I do sometimes make pasta with spinach, pumpkin, etc in it).
