Wipes Bento

OK...I know that sounds weird, but I found this wipes container to be the perfect size for a bento lunch.
Today's bento consists of summer sausage, co-jack sticks, pretzel rods (broken into small pieces, 1/2 a hard boiled egg with smiley face (edible marker), blueberries, and peaches. The only problem with this container is the room between the food and the lid, so it's better off for for home use.

  1. I think that's neat. my only concern is safety. plastic wipe boxes aren't made to carry foods safely so they aren't tested for chemical leeching. but man, that sure does fit nice lol

  2. I hadn't thought of that, but the food was in the box all of 5-10 mins.

  4. That's a great idea Diane! Sometimes I use strange things to keep my bento too. hehehe! I usually don't worry too much about using non-food plastic containers because I would always first line non-food plastic containers with Gladwrap so that the food doesn't come in contact with the container. Makes cleaning easier too. Hope this tip helps! Give me a follow if you like :)
