A few weeks ago I complained about this horrible dishwasher soap that I hated. You can see that post here. I filed a complaint with Colgate-Palmolive fully expecting just a standard form email reply. To my surprise they sent me a check for $5.99 (which is about double what I paid for the crappy soap) and a fist full of coupons. While I won't ever use that soap again, I will continue to use other products made by Colgate-Palmolive.

Follow Up to a Thumbs Down

ReplyDeleteDiana, I just wanted to respond to your comment on my blog. If I had to thing of big things to be grateful for, it would be a struggle for me, too, but I decided to just look for things to be grateful for, even if they were just minor things. I do hope that I'll write more in-depth during the year but I'm allowing myself to be brief, too.
ReplyDeleteThey do not like to lose a customer over a dislike of their products. Not of their product will please everyone. They know that. It is great they return you money plus. I like companies that stand behind they products.

ReplyDeleteSame thing happened to me! The dish detergent totally dried out my hands and caused a rash! Company sent me a free product coupon. It's nice when they respond positively :)
