It's time for another CAH Shout Out! here at Diana Rambles. CAH stands for Craft at Home and I will be featuring a variety of people who create at home. I am very excited about this review/giveaway, and I think you will be too. My friend Cora runs a little sewing business called Little Miss's Blankets and Stuff. She created it to raise money for her adoptions. Cora started out by making blankets and pillow cases, and now she's added adorable dresses and outfits to her site. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention her creative hubby, Jim! Jim is a talented painter and offers his custom paintings at Little Miss's also. Here are some of their offerings~

I ordered an adorable puppy print blanket from Cora last fall and gave it to someone (who works for a vet) as a shower gift. The baby LOVES the blanket and I've seen it covering him several times. I wish I had a pic of the baby with the blanket, but you'll just have to settle for a pic of the blanket itself.

Cora made my daughter one of her peasant dresses in pink. My daughter was immediately excited when we opened the package because the pink print was so bright and fun. Right away she said it was a party dress. She wore it for Daddy's 40th bday party the other day and when we went out to dinner tonight. Check out how adorable she was.As you can see the dress is just too cute! I've sewn for many years and I can say that this is well made. The seams are serged, the edges have a rolled hem, and the gathering is very cleverly done. I don't think I could recreate it without someone teaching me these techniques. The only drawback is that the dress runs quite big. It's loose around the top, but I figure Dori will get 2 years use of out it! We love the length of it though. I would just recommend that if you order a dress, go with a smaller size. I got a 3T and Dori is wearing 3T/4T clothing. The fabric is of great quality and washes well!Check out Cora's lastest creation Stars & Stripes & Kites. It's an adorable 2 piece patriotic outfit...just in time for Independence Day.
