Quick GuacAvecado
Salsa
Sour Cream
Lemon or Lime
Scoop out the avecado and save the pit. I like to buy mine a few days ahead of time because they always seem to be hard. Just put them in a paper lunch sack to ripen. Squeeze a little lemon or lime on the avecado. Put in some salsa and sour cream and mash it all up. Store with the pit in it to keep it from getting brown. I can't tell you the exact amount on the salsa or sour cream, but put in a little and then add more if needed. YUM!

Yummy one of my favs ... great minds think a like I made this the other day. But I didn't know about the pit! I'll have to try that next time. TYSM :)
ReplyDeleteOMGosh!, Diana I made some also las t week. I will make some also today for the dinner that I'm making. I will have chiles rellenos with mexican rice. For the topping will be the guacamole. FYI, just take some lime juice and that will also help with that.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and hope you had a great Mothers Day my friend.
Herdez Salsa Casera is one of my favorites!

ReplyDeletefor st pat's i make orange chicken and rice. all you need i a dead bird with no innerards, a jar of tang and some rice (i used a rice cooker)...o and a brown in bag. so you take the bird and rinse it off, pat it dry and stick it in the bag. now, before you close up the bag, sprinkle tang liberly...very liberly on top of and inside the bird...close up the bag and stick it in thee over. no salt. no pepper. that people ca add after they taste it. now onto the rice. add about 1/3 of cup into your water, then your rice and cook it as normal...i add green peas or beans for added color. my friends love it and the colors!
ReplyDeletesave calories and don't use the sour cream, you won't miss it....taste as great....

ReplyDeleteI love how easy this guacamole really is! My girls love to dip veggies in guac, but I don't always have the time to make it. This is so simple, I can't wait to try it :)
