Chaos!

I can't believe it's Thursday already. It's been quite a week...not bad or good...just very busy!!! I feel like I am back in reactive mode. I want to be proactive, but I just seem to take what is thrown at me.

I've been UBER busy with client inquiries and orders. This is wonderful, but I want to provide GREAT customer service...so I am spreading myself out thin. When someone emails me...I want to get right back to them. But then I spend too much time on emails. I need to strike the right balance between actually designing and customer contacts. But my mind is chaos...so I am back on the receiving side of the net. One issue I have is I am asking too much of my laptop. I need to upgrade!!

OK...I am know I am out of focus and rambling. I am not even going to proof read what I wrote. I've got a headache, but strangely keeping occupied is helping the most. Earlier I relaxed because it was too early to go to bed...but now I can go to bed. Everyone else is there.

It's looking our weather is going to be warming up. Today it was supposed to be up in the 30s, but it missed it's mark...and the windchill was still in the single digits. Not sure if I trust the forecast for tomorrow...44!! In fact, the 10 day has it above freezing everyday...with some 40s & 50s thrown in there. But that STUPID groundhog said 6 more weeks of winter (Really...a groundhog? I mean look at the calendar...there is 6 weeks of winter left anyway!!) While a warm up will be nice...it's just a tease. It will get cold again. I'd rather have the cold now...and then the warm up a week earlier in March. I mean why can't it just warm up and stay warm. NO TEASING! I should stop complaining...there are many people in it worse than we are. I can't imagine what the last week has been like for people in Kentucky.

Today Eric was saying he'd like to get away. Wouldn't we all? I suggested that we play a game. That we set a travel budget and we each price out a trip and see who comes up with the best option. Sounds fun! But then the reality of the recession slapped us in the face and we decided that it's better to save our money. BUT...we do hope to have a vacation this year. Probably in August. We haven't traveled since China. We used to travel a lot...and for the past 26 months...we've been stuck at home. Sad thing is we have TONS of FF miles. Enough for free trips for all of us to Hawaii. But the only time we really have free is maybe 10 days in August...and I think it's too hot then. (We lived in Hawaii!) But there are lots of cooler options on the Big Island.

I can't focus anymore, so I am heading to bed. If anyone has read this far...they probably agree that is where I need to go!! I have NO idea what my to-do list for tomorrow looks like...but I will work on it after my brain has reset. I do need to come up with a Family FotoFun Friday in the morning. Hum.....

OK...later taters!

Living in San Diego, I'm totally familiar with the signs you are exhibiting... you my dear, have CABIN FEVER! Just teasing you! I agree with you, why do we resort to the ground hog to predict our weather in this day and age?? Yet, I've found that even the meteorologists in San Diego can't get it right, and it's sunny/70s 360 days a year!! duh!!

Have a good sleep....
I know what cabin fever is all about...and we still have around two more months of cold weather to go here...
Sigh
What can you do....

hope your head feels better when you wake up! at least the busier you are, the faster the time will go, and sooner (or later) it WILL be spring!

OH YEAH cabin fever has got me good too!!! I've spent 3 days pricing out Disney for Em, Steve and I while Kait is on a misson trip this summer. Sounds great right, well I have no idea when EmmaLi's recital is and it is probably during one of the only weekends we can go to Disney. PLUS Disney is a money trap so it doesn't make sense in this economy to go there. See, I can run round and round in that circle you're in too! Just thought I'd let you know you are not alone!!

Hmmm, here's an idea: Why don't you handout the FFFFon Thursday so we have a chance to post the photos..otherwise it might become a Saturday Foto and that would totally defeat the FFFF...know what I mean?

Of course tht would totally make your week even more chaotic...but you like that, Right?

If you end up using your FF miles, try Bremeton...there are ships there! then short ferry ride away, there are two air museums! How could you even conemplate going anywhere else!?

Hope you got some rest!

Cloudy gloomy dark days always affect me. My mood always seems to match the outside mood.
