UGH!

Well, Dori slept well last night. She only fussed a few times and went right back to sleep when we tucked her back in. We referred to this article and took several steps to comfort her before bed. We increased fluids, put her in a steamy bathroom for about 12 mins, used nasal saline, propped her head up on pillows, used a cool mist humidifier, game her some Tylenol, and used Vicks on her chest. Poor girl had big crocodile tears in the corner of her eyes before she fell asleep, but she did fall asleep. Unfortunately, I didn't sleep well. Not sure if it was a full moon, high pressure, or I was just worried about her...but I kept waking up. UGH! Dori got up around 8:20 to use the potty and wanted milk, so I am up with her. The guys are all asleep. I am definitely napping today! Eric goes back to work on Monday and the kids all have school on Tuesday, so we should start adjusting wake up time tomorrow.

  1. Tht sounds like a terrible night! I hope she starts feeling better...and you get some rest. I would offer some smoked cheese, but the ashes are very sooty.
