FFFF #9: Me

Each Friday I will post a photo theme for the week. You will then post at least one photo that fits the theme on your blog along with an explanation. You can use a photo you took in the past, a photo taken by other family members, or a photo taken during the week to fit the theme. It is ok to use photos that you've posted on your blog before, but you need to put them into a new post. Please post the FFFF button (cut & paste code above) and link back to my blog. Once you've posted your entry on your blog, please come back and list your blog entry in Mr. Linky. Have fun looking at other blogs who have entered and leave some LUV! Feel free to contact me with suggestions for future themes.

This week's theme is ME. Not me as in DIANA, but me as in yourself!! Please post at least 1 favorite pic of yourself (but preferably more!) and tell us when that pic was taken. I came up with this theme because it seems as if blog authors are always posting pics of others or things. It would be nice for us to get to know each other better! Feel free to tell us more about YOU.
UPDATE: OK, truth be told I came up with this theme because DH recently told me that blogs are one of the most ego-maniacal things out there. So I had to prove him wrong!! I totally went overboard with 10 photos below. No need for 10...1 is enough!!

OK...I have to say that I didn't come up with this theme because I LOVE having my photo taken or even posting pics of myself. In fact, I've gained weight over the past year or 2 and I HATE to see pics of myself. I much prefer to be on the backside of the camera!! So I've dug out the following pics of me in chronological order.

A little more about me: I was born & raised in Phoenix, went to college in California, met & married Eric in San Diego, he was Navy and got stationed in Hawaii shortly after we married, I started teaching, Jake was born in Hawaii, moved to Illinois in 1994, Parker was born in 1998, Eric finished college and we moved to Texas in 1999 (I went from teacher to at home mom), lived in Malaysia for 4 mos in 2001, returned to Illinois in 2001, adopted Dorisa in 2006.
