I am tired & sore!

The party was a big success~ around 48 people came. Lots of great food & fun! The white elephant gift exchange was a little tamer this year. We were pretty tired at the end of the night and only did the essentials (food in fridge). Normally we clean up on Saturday, but we are TIRED! Jake came in at 6 and woke me up to take him to school for a speech meet. I was back in bed 20 mins later. Then Dori came in sometime right before 8, I think. I told her it was NOT wake up time. She padded around between Eric, Parker, & I, but I ended up getting out of bed around 8:45 to get her some milk. I moved to the sofa and slept on and off for another hour. I am still tired and my back is SORE. Right now I am sitting with a heating pad (one of the rice ones I gave directions to a few weeks ago), blanket over me, and watching Wall-E with Eric, Park, & Dori. We rented it and it's due back tonight. We haven't done much cleaning this morning. (Yup...I know it's after noon, but it seems like 9am to me!) I am happy to say we have NO PLANS today. I am actually glad it's overcast...good weather to hunker down with a blanket. We only have a few church things on tap tomorrow, which will give us time to get the house put back together and rest up. I need to to some stretching for my back. I have back issues that flair up every so often and doing my PT exercises help me to feel better right away. I know my soreness is from being on my feet so much yesterday (with part of the day without supportive shoes!)

I do plan on going through and verifying the penguin clothing giveaway entries today. People have 8 more days to sign up. (and Family FotoFun Friday...which I am leaving at the can have participants added through Thursday!)

Have a relaxing Saturday. It's about time for me to snooze here on the sofa! lol!
