Thank You for Serving!

Seriously! To all the vets and current military members, thanks for serving!!!

My kids are off school today...just another day off. But many veterans are working today. I found a very informative website about Veteran's Day. Did you know that World War I ended on November 11, 1918? The day now honors those who have served the USA in war.

Our grade school kids in the area have off but the high school has school. I think it is the first time ever.

They have a nice little parade and ceromony downtown today, but I think the rain may push it inside one of the school gyms instead...definately not the same, but it is still nice to honor our veterans in some small way!
