I am so out of shape!

Today I am sore! I guess no exercise and then lifting 70 lb bags of sand does that to you. I must say that I was a good girl and did walk briskly for 30 mins today. I took Dori & Jake to the indoor playground and walked the track while they played. I ran into a friend who is leaving for China tomorrow (3rd adoption) and we chatted, which made the time fly by. Her pace was a little quicker than mine...so I was pushed. I need to make plans to walk again tomorrow.

Today I googled the elliptical machine I am interested in and found that it's going to be $300 off on Black Friday. I am not a fan of shopping in crowds, but for $300 off...I just might sneak up to the mall.

We had fish for dinner. I can't remember if I mentioned it before or not, but I do not care for fish. I know that it's good for you, so I try to make it a regular part of our menu. We probably manage to have it twice a month instead of once a week. We grilled the fish and served it with rice, peas, and pineapple. Tomorrow I am trying out a new crock-pot recipe that I will need to post.

When we go to the indoor playground, Dori loves to play in these huge bins of Duplos/Mega Blocks. She will sit and make towers and play for a long time. So I have decided to get her some Duplos/Mega Blocks for her birthday and/or Christmas. Of course we had some when the boys were little (along with a Lego table), but I got rid of them. Now I am stalking Craigs List in hopes of finding a good deal on some. Do you ever use Craig's List? I know some people don't like the idea of giving their address out to strangers to come over and buy stuff, but we've had no issues. We even had someone drive out from Virginia to buy a car that Eric was selling. The guy paid full asking price and thanked us for being honest about the car and it's condition. (The car wasn't junk, so he wasn't going to get in trouble from his wife! LOL!) Here is a video (it's hard to see and it's rated PG-13 for language) of when we got rid of a sofa on Craig's List.

Have a restful night!! I am in the mood to just watch a stupid TV show. (Speaking of TV...it looks like Style Network was removed from our channel line up. We only have the most basic of cable that gives us the local channels + WGN, but we've had Style for a few years. We enjoy Clean House and How Do I Look...and now they might be gone! Boo Hoo!)
